Who we are

searchrAInk is an AI brand visibility monitoring service operated from the Netherlands. When we say “we”, “us”, or “searchrAInk” in this policy, we mean the operator of searchraink.com.

What we collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — to deliver reports, send login links, and communicate about your account.
• Brand name(s) — the brands you want us to monitor across AI models.
• Category / description — a description of what your brand does, used to generate relevant queries.
• Geographic scope — an optional target region to tailor AI queries.
• Competitor names — optional competitor brands for benchmarking (paid plans).

We do not collect passwords. Authentication is handled entirely via passwordless magic links through our auth provider (Clerk).

How we use your data

• To query AI models about your brand and generate visibility reports.
• To deliver reports to your email address.
• To process subscription payments through our payment provider.
• To respond to support emails you send us (see below).

Payments

All payments are processed by Polar, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Polar handles all payment details, VAT, and billing. We never see or store your credit card information.

Support emails

If you email us at any @searchraink.com address, your message is stored as a support ticket. We use AI to draft replies to common questions. If the AI is confident in its response, it may reply automatically on our behalf. Complex or billing-related questions are always reviewed by a human.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate searchrAInk. Each processes only the data necessary for its function:

• Clerk — authentication (email address only).
• Convex — database and backend infrastructure.
• Polar — subscription payments and billing.
• Resend — sending report delivery and support emails.
• MailerSend — receiving inbound support emails.
• OpenRouter — routing queries to AI models (brand name, category, and queries are sent).
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies required for authentication (Clerk session cookies). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains available in case you return. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also request a copy of the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@searchraink.com.

The service

searchrAInk is an AI brand visibility monitoring service. We query multiple AI models on your behalf to assess how they mention, rank, and describe your brand, then deliver scored reports with sentiment analysis and competitive positioning.

Accounts and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Polar. Prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal — no cancellation fees apply. After cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Free trial

We offer a free trial scan that does not require an account or payment. Trial scans use a limited set of AI models and queries. Trial results are provided as-is to give you a preview of the service.

AI models and report availability

Each subscription tier includes a specified number of AI models. We may update, add, or replace the specific models included in any tier at any time without prior notice. We always aim to include the most widely used and relevant AI models available.

If an AI model is temporarily unavailable during report generation, we will retry the query. However, reports may occasionally be delivered with fewer models than the tier normally includes. This is within the normal range of service operation and is not considered a defect or grounds for a refund.

AI-generated content

Reports are generated using third-party AI models. The scores, rankings, and insights we provide are informational and reflect how AI models respond at the time of the scan. They are not guarantees of market position, search ranking, or business outcomes. AI model responses can change at any time and may vary between scans.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to: automated scraping of reports, attempting to overload or reverse-engineer the service, using the service for any unlawful purpose, or creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

Intellectual property

Your reports are yours — you may use, share, and reference them as you see fit. The searchrAInk platform, branding, scoring methodology, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

Limitation of liability

searchrAInk is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
